cuvée de la haie aux grives
Cuvée de la Haie aux Grives
Old Grenache vines bring to these wines a strong aroma of warm earth saturated with sunshine, of tannins that are noticeable but remain subtle and wrapped in warmth. From the old Syrah vines, the wine garners the strong aroma of fresh truffles still clothed in the red earth. No cultivated yeast are added during the maceration which is done by complete harvest.

The conveyor belts in our winery help us fill the wine tanks without damaging the grapes in any way; natural fermentation temperatures encourage the tannic extraction.

The selective assemblage that goes into the Cotes du Rhone de la Haie aux Grives wines, permits us to create especially rounded wines well adapted to aging. With their attractive opulent garnet-violet color, the wines offer a nose reminiscent of dark fruits and fine tannins, a hint of fresh truffle and a final spicy taste that awakens the palette. This well-balanced wine will express itself fully after 3 to 5 years of aging.

Cuvée des Capucines
Our Cotes du Rhone des Capucines present a pretty young bright red color and aromas tending toward ripe red fruit, with a hint of sugary jams. In the taste, the delicate bouquet is charming, a hint of roses with a soft ending taste. These Cotes du Rhone will then evolve toward chocolate and prune jams.

Both of these Cotes du Rhone are like sunshine in a bottle, and are best tasted at 18°C with duck, roasted meats, and patés.
